1. Alpha Stage Disclaimer
Welcome to the Cape Workwear eCommerce platform. Please be advised that this platform is currently in an Alpha testing stage. Products, features, and pricing are for demonstration and testing purposes only. No actual fulfillment of orders will take place, and the platform may experience downtime or errors. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that Cape Workwear is not liable for any discrepancies or issues arising during this stage.
2. General South African eCommerce
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, particularly the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Any mock transactions simulated on this platform adhere broadly to these frameworks in principle for testing purposes.
3. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)
In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), any test data (including names, addresses, and contact details) entered into this Alpha platform will be protected and used solely for the duration of the testing phases. We will not distribute or sell your information to third parties. By registering an account, you consent to this temporary testing retention.
4. Versioning & Modifications
Because this platform is actively in development, Cape Workwear reserves the right to update these terms without direct notice. You will be required to accept the current version of the Terms of Service upon logging in or registering. Your continued use of the Alpha represents acceptance of the active version constraints.
